The Rainbow Garden will appear
in the Spring!
9th Annual Spring Program at the Fullerton Arboretum
Youngsters in preschool, kindergarten and 1st grade are invited to visit the Rainbow Garden each weekday.
March 9 – March 20, 2009
9:00 am, 10:00 am and 11:00 am.
Children will visit the Children’s Rainbow Garden accompanied by our Rainbow Gardeners and will
· See the spring flowers and vegetables
· Touch the flowers and vegetables
· Taste some flowers and vegetables
· Smell some plants
· Plant a seed for their very own
Each teacher/leader will receive information that can be used to teach children about the growing cycle of plants and information on how to care for their newly planted seed.
Please bring a tray to hold the seed cups.
The cost of the program is $3.00 per student (minimum 10 students or $30.00) payable in advance. Group size is 10-30 children plus 1 adult for each 10 students. Please call the Arboretum to schedule your tour. Reservations: 714-278-3407
