Worms...Worms...Worms
Do you know the magical powers of worms? How they can turn your garbage into soil for the garden? Come meet some of these live wigglers and explore their damp, dark world. You'll learn what wonderful powers worms have and how to best use these amazing workers. This event is designed for elementary age students, but Mom and Dad are welcome too.

Rainbow Garden Group Tourswith Julie Johnston
Children in preschool, kindergarten and 1st grade, join us on a beautiful garden adventure!
Our rainbow gardener Julie Johnston will lead you through our delightful spring garden as you touch, taste and smell the rainbow of flowers and vegetables. You’ll even get to plant your very own seed!
To help build on this learning experience, each group will receive a Rainbow Garden Packet that includes lessons for teaching the growing cycle of plants and instructions on caring for newly planted seeds.
Mon-Fri / Mar 4-18 / Daily tours at 9:00, 10:00 & 11:00 am / Meet at Nature Center
$3/child / minimum 10 children / 1 adult required for every 10 children

For Pre-K, K, and 1st graders
We recommend bringing a tray for easy seed cup transportation.
Please note: Carpooling recommended. If the Arboretum parking lot is full, parking is $8 for CSUF parking across the street (exact amount required). Tours will be canceled in the event of rain. Call after 8:00 am to confirm your tour if weather is questionable.

The Giving Trees: An Arbor Day Event
Come join in an afternoon of fun, interactive activities discovering the rich gifts of trees. Through a unique program based on renowned naturalist Joseph Cornell’s Flow Learning process, participants will develop a meaningful understanding and appreciation of these valuable living giants.
