Come to the Fullerton Arboretum and spend the day in discovery! During this special 5-hour experience, you’ll learn firsthand the creative and advantageous ways various cultures have used indigenous plants of Southern California. Led by ecology educator Peter the Leader, you’ll explore the plants of our Chaparral Hill through touch, smell and taste. Then, you’ll use those plants to make games of skill and chance to play together, musical instruments for a mini-jam session, paint to decorate your skin, soap to clean your hands, and much more!
