Orchard Lawn is the ideal location for receptions and social events. It is directly in the center of the Arboretum and offers a semi-private venue for large events, up to 400 people. Many receptions are held on Orchard Lawn due to its proximity to other venues on the grounds. It is directly at the end of the main path into the Arboretum, hence it is an easy location for guests to find.

Orchard Lawn is surrounded by picturesque trees and decorative plants on most sides, with a beautiful view of Heritage House and the new Orange County Agricultural and Nikkei Heritage Museum, classrooms and The Potting Shed. Tents, stages and other rental items needed for outdoor events are allowed to make sure your reception is “picture perfect” and is conducive with all weather conditions.
