Photo permits are available for professional photographers who wish to use the Arboretum as a site to shoot pictures of individuals, weddings or groups. For a permit, contact the reception desk at the Arboretum (714-278-3407).

A photo permit costs $100 (once approved) and is valid for one day and for 1 and ½ hours. Hours permitted are between 8:00 a.m. and closing of the Arboretum (depending on time of the year). No professional photography is allowed without a valid approved and paid permit. The permit approval process may take 2 or 3 days and must be approved in writing before the photo session.

Note: All photo permits cannot be scheduled more than 30 days in advance.

Commercial photographers may obtain a special contract to take pictures or shoot video on the grounds of the Arboretum if it is commercial in nature and for resale or for commercial clients.

Commercial photographers may obtain special permits at the office of the Facility Rental Manager (714) 278-4791. The Facility Rental Manager contracts all rates, and can provide the appropriate rules and general information.
