Welcome to the Fullerton Arboretum
Parking Update
The Arboretum has limited free parking for visitors only, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Vehicles parked when Arboretum is closed or not visiting the Arboretum, will be cited.
Additional parking is normally available in CSUF lots G & A across from the Arboretum, Monday from 12:00 a.m. through Friday at 5:00 p.m. for $8 per car. Parking in lots G & A is sometimes free during weekends; beginning Friday at 5:00 p.m. Parking permits available at specially marked yellow kiosks upon entering lots G & A.
Summer Hours for Attractions/Shops at
The Fullerton Arboretum
The Potting Shed, Heritage House and Museum will be closed
from
Monday, July 26 until Saturday, September 11.
The Nature Center will be open occasionally during weekends in
August
and early September, depending on the availability of
volunteers--usually from about 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The annual "opening day" Salvia Spectacular Plant sale will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 11 & 12 at The Potting Shed. This sale marks the opening of The Potting Shed after its summer closure during August. The sale is from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm both days; admission is free however donations are encouraged at the front entrance to support the gardens and education programs. Expect to find hundreds of salvias for sale as well as many other related plants. The Potting Shed will be fully stocked and there will be a huge variety to choose from. More information here.
9/18/10Volunteer Opportunities Fair
Join us on Saturday, September 18 for our fall "Volunteer Opportunities Fair." This is the event you need to attend to learn more about the Arboretum and opportunities to volunteer. There are many enjoyable and educationaly opportunities available for those who have the interest and time to volunteer. This session is scheduled from 10:00 am to 12 noon in the Visitor's Center on the pavilion. Free to all interested parties. 9/25/10Fullerton Uncorked
The Fullerton Uncorked event returns to the Fullerton Arboretum on September 25. Sponsored by the Fullerton South Rotary, this annual event attracts hundreds of people. All food and beverages included--tickets $45 or at the door $55. Hours are 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm--must be 21 and over to attend. Tickets available at Fullerton Arboretum and various other locations in town. See website for more information here.
10/2/10Annual Bonsai Show
The annual Kofu Kai Bonsai Club exhibition and show will be held at the Arboretum over the weekend of October 2 & 3, 2010. Hours for this show are 10:00 am to 4:00 pm both days. Admission is free, however donations are encouraged at the front gate of the Arboretum. The show this year promises to be one of the best yet and has become a popular event at the Arboretum every October. It is the "must see" show for bonsai enthusiasts and dozens of unusual and unique plants and trees will be on display.

The annual Californian Native and Fall Plant Sale will be held at The Potting Shed on October 9 & 10, 2010. Hours for this sale are 10:00 am to 4:00 pm both days. Note: A special "Members Only" preview sale will be held on Friday, October 8 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This preview sale is for members only however memberships will be available at the door. Admission to the sale is free, however donations are encouraged at the front gate to help support the gardens and education programs. Hundreds of California and fall plants will be for sale. 10/29/10Haunted Garden
Haunted Garden returns to the Fullerton Arboretum on October 29 and 30. Hours for this annual family event are 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, with tours lasting about 30 minutes each. Wander through the gardens at night with one of out tour guides--plenty of spooky goblins and scary characters are waiting at every turn. Age recommendation is 5 years or older. 12/3/10Winter Cactus and Succulent Show and Sale
The annual Winter Cactus and Succulent Show and Sale will be held at the Arboretum on December 3, 4 & 5. Hours for this annual winter show and sale are 10:00 am to 4:00 pm all 3 days. Admission is free however voluntary contributions are encouraged at the door. Expect to find dozens of vendors with thousands of various cactus and succulent plants on sale. This is the largest cactus and succulent sale in the region and is held twice a year--once in December and once in July due to its growing popularity. The show and sale is conducted by the Orange County Cactus and Succulent Society.
12/4/10Victorian Christmas
Victorian Christmas returns to the Fullerton Arboretum on December 4 & 5, 2010. The hours are 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm both nights. This interesting event showcases a tour of Heritage House decorated for the holidays in true Victorian fashion, plus a Victorian demonstration of other related activities during this time of the year. Plan to attend this interesting and educational function. Tickets will be on sale soon through our Shopping Cart on the website. Cost is $15 per person. 3/17/11Monster Tomato and Pepper Sale
The annual Monster Tomato and Pepper Sale in 2011 will be the biggest sale of its kind yet! This sale grows in popularity each year and in 2011 more tomato and pepper varieties will be available than ever before. A "Members Only" preview sale is scheduled for Thursday, March 17 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Regular sales hours on March 18, 19 and 20 are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. This event is free to the public, however voluntary donations at the front entrance are encouraged to help support the gardens and education programs.
