The Fullerton Arboretum is a beautiful and natural 26 acre sanctuary which is truly an urban paradise. We offer many special school group tours of our grounds, Heritage House and Museum for students of all ages and interests. Special Nature Guide School Tours

Special Nature Guide School Tours are available upon request. Generally they can be scheduled in advance and can be conducted any day the Arboretum is open, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:45 pm, except during the summer months when the Arboretum closes at 8:00 pm in July, 7:30 pm in August and 7:00 pm in September.

A special form must be completed and approved prior to the scheduling of a tour and should be submitted by the 3rd Monday preceeding the month of the planned tour.. Tour groups of 10 or more should call our front desk at least 4 weeks prior to their visit to make reservations and to ensure enough Nature Guides are available to handle their specific needs. Nature Guide Tours for schools are free.

Special Heritage House School Tours

Special Heritage House School Tours are available upon request. These tours are strictly docent lead and are free.

Tour groups of 10 or more should call our front desk by the 15th of the month preceeding the month of the planned tour prior to their visit to make reservations and to ensure enough docents are available to handle their specific needs. The Heritage House is closed during January and August for tours.

Special Museum School Tours

Special Museum School Tours are available upon request. These tours are lead by trained docents and cost $2/student and $2/adult. Group tours should call our front desk at least 4 weeks in advance to schedule tours. School tours are only scheduled on Tuesday's. All tours are docent lead. Visit the Museum Store for interesting gifts and specialty items during your visit.

The museum is closed during the month of August and during those months when new exhibits are being constructed.
