Weekend Tours: Docents open the house for tours on Saturday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. No reservations are required.

Group Tours: Weekday group tours of 10 or more must be scheduled by the 15th of the month preceeding the month of the tour in advance by calling the administrative office at (714) 278-3579. Heritage House Group Tours are only given on Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's. The cost is free for school tours and is $2/adult and $1/child for all other groups.

Designations include the National Register of Historic Places (1976), Inventory of California Historic Sites (ORA-004, 1976), Orange County Historic Site #2, (1976), and American Revolution Bicentennial Project (#O14878, 1976).

Local History Tours: Fullerton third graders visit Heritage House to complement the "people as members of communities" history curriculum with a docent-led tour of the house and gardens. Tours generally are lead in the spring during the week between February and May, depending on the weather.
