For flower and garden enthusiasts, the 2008 Perennial Plant Sale promises to offer a huge selection and variety of perennial flowering plants, at the perfect time of the year for planting.

Look for Verbascum bombyciferum ‘Silver Lining'-Turkish Mullein. These plants have attractive silver leaves and erect fleecy silver stems that are heavily studded with cool yellow flowers. Another featured variety is Leonotis leonurus-Lion's Tail . This perennial is one of the most consistently colorful plants in the dry garden with beautiful orange flowers that attract hummingbirds to the garden.

Also featured this year is Campanula persicifolia ‘Telham Beauty'. This has stunning cup shaped blue flowers rise on slender stems from late spring to midsummer. Many other colorful and hardy perennials will be available including Achillea, Agastache, Arctotis, Asclepias, Bulbine, Centranthus, Cuphea, Dianthus, Euphorbia, Felicia, Geranium, Justicia, Pelargonium, Ruellia, Salvia and Veronica.

Hundreds of other varieties of perennial plants are available at this sale. Sales hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day during the sale and admission is free.
