The Fullerton Arboretum is a diverse institution, which offers many varied educational, cultural and social activities for members and visitors. Accordingly, there are many volunteer opportunities available for people with specific interests in working with either the public (retail atmosphere in The Potting Shed or special events) or working in a nursery environment, planting and tending plants.
Within the Plant Sales area, there are three (3) general areas volunteers are needed on either a regular basis or seasonally for events. They are:
Plant Sales in The Potting Shed-Cashier activities and Plant Specialists on weekends and mid-week (Tuesday and Thursday).
Potters-Working in the nursery and greenhouse propagating and tending plants.
Special Events-Helping with special events such as Green Scene and the Monster Tomato and Pepper Sale.
