| Purpose: |
Assist general public with questions about the Arboretum, give directions and help with interactive children’s projects. |
| Time Commitment: |
Minimum of 3 hours per shift—generally Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm (once or twice a month). |
| Skills Needed: |
Friendly personality—likes to talk with people and enjoys children. No technical training or experience required. |
| Training: |
Hardly none! We provide a short orientation session for you. |
| Requirements: |
Able to sit or work in dusty—sometimes cold or hot environment. No lifting or moving of heavy objects. |
| What you gain: |
Appreciation for all the activities and events that happen at the Arboretum and the beautiful plant specimens on the grounds. |
